About the Song

Falak Shabir is a singer, music director, and even a songwriter in the Indian film industry. Falak had a number of hit songs in the 2010s, and one of the songs that he made was Saajna, which was for the movie I, Me aur Main; this is a 2013 Indian Hindi romantic flick directed by debut film director Kapil Sharma. This movie had three people in lead roles

starting with John Abraham, Prachi Desai, and Chitrangada Singh.

The movie revolves around the story of Ishaan who is a good-looking, self-centered, pompous music producer from Mumbai. He lives a sheltered life, and his mother loves him a lot; he is always protected by his elder sister, Shivani. He lives with his girlfriend, Anushka, and then takes her for granted. As a result, one day, Anuska decides to kick him out of her house.

The movie, when released in theaters, got mixed reviews from both critics and fans. The soundtrack of the movie reused a song from the 1989 Bollywood comedy film ChaalBaaz starring Shridevi. The music album accompanying the movie came with 7 songs. Falak Shabir recorded two versions of Saajna; the first one can be heard in the movie, and the second iteration is the unplugged version. The lyrics of the song Saajna were written by Maya Puri. Falak made his music debut with his first song, “Rog,” in 2006; at that time, the song was an instant hit, and it topped various music charts in Pakistan. Following the success of his first single, Falak produced more, and in 2011, he came up with his first studio album called Judah, which featured popular hits like Judah and Ishq.
