The song Everything I Do is from Canada’s legendary singer Bryan Adams, who is known for his amazing voice and songwriting skills. This particular song was written by Adams himself, along with Michael Kamen and Robert John “Mutt” Lange. This is one of the power ballads that the singer has released in his iconic career, and it was released in 1991 as the soundtrack album for the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Adams also included this song in his sixth studio album, Waking Up The Neighbours which was also released in the same year (1991).

Right from the beginning, Everything I Do became a critical success for the musician; it has gained international dominance in the number of music charts from all around the globe. It reached the number 1 spot in 19 countries. Also, in non-English speaking countries like Spain and Italy, the song was able to reach 4th and 3rd position, respectively. In the United Kingdom, the song was able to spend 16 weeks at the number one spot; this is the longest uninterrupted run ever on the chart till now. 

Everything I Do sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, making it Adams's most successful song. Furthermore, it became one of the best-selling singles of all time in the history of music. With time, Everything I Do has been covered by hundreds of singers and artists from around the world. 

Everything I Do also won a Grammy for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture, and it was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Record Of The Year and Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1992. Unfortunately, it lost both these awards to “Beauty And The Beast.”
