Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga is a song written for a Bollywood flick Half Girlfriend, in which the lead actors were Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor; the entire music album for the movie was composed by Mithoon. Arijit Singh was the man behind the melodic singing of Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga, along with Sashaa Tirupati. The lyrics of the song were penned by Manoj Muntashir, and you may not believe it, but the song has gained more than 1 billion views on YouTube as of September 2024.

Muntasir was not too confident as to how the song was going to perform, but Mohit Suri gave him confidence that if the song was produced properly, it had all the elements to make it a great hit. After that, Mithoon did his magic and brought this song to life.
