Main Aoon Gaa is a Pakistani song sung by Bilal Khan for his album Umeed, which he released in 2011. The singer released the entire album on YouTube by uploading his songs from the album one by one on his YouTube channel under the same name. The song is about how Bilal Khan lost someone close in his life, and now, through this song, he remembers them as the only thing that remains with him are the memories of the person to cherish. In addition to this, the singer and the songwriter Bilal is asking God to send him to the afterlife as he doesn’t want to live anymore.
There’s a slight controversy that happens at the start of the song of Main Aoon Gaa, the chords that the singer is playing are also part of another song called “Bachna” from the same album. For some fans it felt quite repetitive and they didn’t like it at all. Still, it is one of the good songs written and performed by Bilal Khan that everyone remembers from his debut album.
His debut album performed so well that in 2012, the album got a nomination for the Best Album in 11th Lux Style Awards. Khan apart from being a singer and songwriter also holds a degree in BSc (Hons) in Politics and Economics from Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS). After completing his graduation he went abroad to study in Virginia Commonwealth University.
To help you with a guitar chord lesson of Main Aaon Gaa we have asked the singer himself to be your tutor. Bilal was fond of music from a very young age, he had bought a guitar and used to practice on it day and night. He didn’t get any proper musical coaching, what he studied he got it from the articles, blogs and videos that are present on the internet. Still, he was able to make a name for himself in Pakistan with his music and guitar-playing skills.
For this guitar chord lesson, Bilal Khan has divided the song into 5 segments where he will introduce you to the song, showcase the chords you need to play in the verse, and during the pre-chorus of the song, along with all the other crucial aspects of guitar playing.
