Rude is the debut single from a Canadian band called Magic! This song was part of their first studio album called Don’t Kill The Magic; the song was originally released on October 11 2013, as a promotional single, then it was re-released on February 14, 2014, under the label of Sony Music Entertainment. Apart from this, there was an official remix of the song, which included Kid Ink, and Ty Dolla Sign joined with Blink-182 member Travis Barker on the drums.
Rude was able to get international recognition, even though critics had mixed reviews for the song. Rude was able to peak at number six on the Canadian Hot 100 and internationally topped charts in the United States and in the United Kingdom. Rude was the 9th best-selling song, as it sold more than 8.6 million copies worldwide in 2014. It also won the Juno Award for Single of the Year.
