Another interesting fact about the film is that RHTDM is actually a remake of the same director’s Tamil movie, Minnale released in the same year. Except for the title track and ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua,’ all the tunes of RHTDM were taken from the Minnale soundtrack. The love garnered by ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua’ led to the reusing of the song as 'Ondra Renda Aasaigal' in the 2003 Tamil film ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ by Harris himself.
