Rafta Rafta is a song from Raaz 3: The Third Dimension, which was released in 2012. It was a supernatural horror film directed by Vikram Bhatt, and the co-producers were Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. The responsibility of composing songs was given to Jeet Ganguly with Rashid Khan, and the soundtrack album accompanying the movie was released under the label of T-Series. Sanjay Masoom is the man who penned down the lyrics of Rafta Rafta and KK gave his eternal voice to this song.
Raaz 3 was released on 7th September 2012, and it was the second horror movie in India that got a 3D release in theaters. It has more 3D prints than the 2D versions, and it became the biggest release of Emraan Hashmi's career. They played the main character in the Raaz franchise as the movie was on more than 2000 screens all across India even though the movie received an adult certificate from the Censor Board of India. In addition to this, it was the first ever movie of Emraan Hashmi which got a 3D release.
Jeet Ganguly has been around music from the young age of three; he is trained in Indian classical music under the guidance of his father, Kali Ganguly and Sibhani Roychowdhury, his aunt. After completing his initial learning, he studied Western classical music, such as jazz and rock, with jazz guitarist Carlton Kitto. Some of his famous works in the world of music composition are Khamoshiyan, Aashiqui 2, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Rustom, Raaz Reboot, etc.
